ABOUT ME
I am a well-rounded person that has a team player attitude, strong writing ability, and can handle numerous things at once. I have a history of working in marketing, PR, design, and entertainment for well-known companies. I have been drawing, designing, dreaming and thinking since I was about 5. My passion for art and creativity has always been a burning desire for me to pursue. I have a foundation also that I started with some friends that I am the marketing director of. I believe that when God blesses you with a gift it's your job to unwrap it to the world.
WHAT I'VE DONE
I've worked at The Source Magazine as a design assistant for the Marketing and Art department. I was a marketing assistant for The Bauer Media Group which is in charge of LIfe & Style and INTouch Magazines. I have also started a magazine from the ground up called Eclecollective which was started by a writer from XXL magazine. For this magazine I was a art director along with one other person.
WHAT I DO
Now I currently am a Maestro for Converse Inc. where I custom design sneakers for customers. I love what I do because I have the opportunity to use my skills to make other peoples ideas come to life. I think it's nice that I have the ability to turn art work into a form of fashion.
